A few other good points are:
1) You only need to purchase support for the number of live users not the number of CALs (e.g. 250 Cals but only 202 users connecting, then only purchase 202 for support)
2) The package is user based not server based. So for users who may have several businesses and/or multiple servers they can cover everything on one contract (extremely beneficial in terms of the FREE upgrades for the BES)
3) Once the support is purchased there is no need during the supported period to update RIM with increased user numbers, this is simply reconciled at the renewal date for the next period (support is only available on a 12 monthly basis due to this but does mean that if you are looking to increase your users it is better to get support sooner rather than later)
