Swiftpage Opens Newcastle Office

Swiftpage, the company that bought ACT! and Saleslogix from Sage, has opened an office in Newcastle’s Quorum Business Park.

Swiftpage, which was established in Denver, Colarado, has made the move to Newcastle upon Tyne to expand its international operation following the purchase of ACT! and Saleslogix earlier this year.

Swiftpage, which offers CRM solutions with an integrated e-marketing system, has expanded rapidly and now has over one million users across the world. It currently employs 300 staff worldwide and the Newcastle office will play an important part in its expansion plans.

The new office will be the home of Swiftpage’s international sales and support operation, providing a centre of excellence as it continues to grow its international service.

The new office, which is located in Quorum’s Q15, provides office space with meeting rooms and training areas. It will also prove to be an important base for Swiftpage’s multi-lingual support teams, who provide services in English, German and French.

Head of Swiftpage’s Newcastle operations, Lindsay Boullin, said: “The new office in Newcastle is an important part of our exciting growth strategy. We’ve already created more than 30 jobs in the North East in 2013 and we’re looking forward to further expansion throughout 2014.

“Launching a centre of excellence in the North East is key to our plans, and we are thrilled to open our doors on Quorum – it is a people friendly location that will provide our staff with the facilities best suited to support a global business.

“It will also enable us to take on even more sales and support operations, to better serve our existing customers and business partners.”

Quorum Director Fergus Trim said: “The arrival of US based Swiftpage is an important new international inward investment for the North East.

“We are delighted that Swiftpage has chosen Quorum and adds another international name to our growing client list.”
